They are the ones who sit on the board of directors and make the decisions that shape the club\u2019s future. They are the ones who make competitions possible \u2014 timekeepers, turn judges, operators \u2014; up to 120 people can be mobilized for a single day. They are the ones who create the human fabric that makes a child want to come back to the pool week after week.<\/p><p style=\"line-height:1.7;\">This is not a minor detail: it is the foundation on which everything rests. Qu\u00e9bec\u2019s Companies Act requires that a board of directors made up of volunteer members govern every non-profit \u2014 no volunteers on the board = no legally recognized club. And the FNQ is just as categorical: without the minimum number of certified officials present during competitions = no sanctioned results.<\/p><p style=\"line-height:1.7;\">With the 2026\u20132027 season, we are taking a real turning point, because we need you. Each of you has skills or expertise to offer.
