Officials and volunteers are essential to the club. This committee aims to integrate and train new members, ensure the follow-up of their training and certifications, and verify and reconcile the requirements of the volunteer program.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t

Mission<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
  • Recruit, train and support officials, starting with the first groups in our competitive structure.<\/li>
  • Ensure a strong partnership between the competition committee, the regional committee and the FNQ.<\/li>
  • Coordinate officials\u2019 participation at competitions.<\/li>
  • Promote officials\u2019 certification and continuing development.<\/li>
  • Follow up on the Volunteer Engagement Program (VEP).<\/li>
  • Recognize volunteer engagement in partnership with the communications committee.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    Responsibilities<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
    \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
    • Keep the list of the club\u2019s certified officials up to date.<\/li>
    • Coordinate registration for training and lead that training.<\/li>
    • Ensure a sufficient presence of officials at each competition.<\/li>
    • Promote our officials\u2019 successes in partnership with the social and communications committees.<\/li>
    • Track officials\u2019 and volunteers\u2019 hours in connection with the VEP.<\/li>
    • Guide, advise and mentor beginner officials using various means.<\/li>
    • Organize training sessions or rules-review sessions.<\/li>
    • Submit post-competition reports to members in connection with the VEP and communicate them.<\/li>
    • Work closely with the competition committee.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
      \n\t\t\t\t\t

      Who we\u2019re looking for<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
      \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
      • Good command of Excel or any other platform for tracking hours.<\/li>
      • A sense of responsibility, rigour, consistency and the ability to meet deadlines.<\/li>
      • A desire to contribute to the development of the sport.<\/li>
